Abstract

In the article on the base of the numerous experimental data some characteristics of singledimensional distribution probabilities density of time intervals between zeroes of random processes, which are either normal noise, passed through the bandpass filters with different frequency responses, or the mixture of the sinusoidal signal with the same noise are investigated. Some empirical formulas and graphs for the calculating characteristics of distribution are given. The accuracy of determination of the distribution characteristics using the realisation of finite duration is evaluated.
