Short review of the literature in the field of photonics, which reflects the new technology of ultra-compact optical communications components, the use of generators to transmission light instead of wires is represented. This is - silicon photonics - finding ways to use semiconductor components and of standard semiconductor technology to create optical devices, silicon photonics - the creation of a silicon photonic waveguide. All of these components can be used in the construction of computer systems linked by powerful optical data networks. Optical communication system will eliminate the "bottleneck" due to the difference in memory bandwidth and processor speed, and improve overall performance computing plate-tformy.References
