Abstract

Barker's sequence can't provide required signal length for modern radar systems as it is limited only to 13 symbols. The article shows a detailed description and analysis of generation PM signal with maximum length sequence. The main part of this article consists of analyses of dependence of correlation characteristics of M-sequence PM signal from the length of the sequence, also it has a compression with the theoretical data that is available in the literature. The results of this article could be used while selecting a length of sequence for particular signal usage cases.
