A simulation mathematical model for the frequency control current reactive load was proposed and studied in order to develop a managed source of the magnetic field. An equivalent circuit of a magnetic field source as reactive load was proposed. Model input parameter is the time dependence of reactive load voltage; output one is the time dependence of reactive load current, which is proportional to the magnetic field source. A mathematical model of reactive load was got by calculating the system of linear differential equations. A method of frequency controlled current of reactive load was proposed. An expression for discrete calculating of control process by software was given. Results of the analysis of numerical experiments suggest qualitative adequacy of the model. Examples of practical use in the development of controlled magnetic field source were given. It was established that the management of the source of the magnetic field due to the frequency modulation is characterized by simplicity of implementation and configuration flexibility, in particular, provides a digital program control.
