Resonant dispersion measurement method

Abstract

It is described a method for measuring dispersion of periodic structures, turned into the resonator by installing shorting ends in translational symmetry planes. The method is based on the amplitude and phase relationships for the fields in the resonant layout. By using this method it is possible performing measurements in complex systems where there is no region in which a spatial harmonic substantially predominates over the other.
