The dielectric cube with impedance boundary conditions

Abstract

We consider the boundary conditions on the surface of a spherical dielectric resonator. It is shown that in the case of a dielectric cube it is possible to use the obtained impedance conditions at certain points of the surface of the cubic cavity. The procedure of obtaining the characteristic equations for a number of natural oscillations of the structure under consideration was described. For the main magnetic type is given a numerical solution of the equation system. Experimental investigations that revealed to errors of the resonant frequency calculation does not exceed one percent.
