The program for optimization of the amplitude characteristic of band-stop filter based on 4 dielectric resonators, which is function of 4 variables, is proposed. The results of filter calculations with smallest and widest frequency bands are presented. Acceptable characteristics were achieved for filters with relative blocking band from 0.9% to 1.8%. Obtained results are shown on graphs. Time for optimization of amplitude characteristic of band-stop filter based on 4 dielectric resonators is approximately 10 times more then time for optimization of band-pass filter based on 3 dielectric resonators. Conclusion about feasibility of using genetic algorithms for other similar problems was made.
